Thanks for the correction bro N Wongwan. Had this makan once in Melaka many many years ago. Never had the urge to look for it again. Prefer the plain stock type (lok lok).
Bro Scroob, u know their operating ins and outs......One time i got one of them to send me his pic. Damn funny. Wearing like Idi Amin six star general uniform standing outside the bank. hahaha rotfl......
No way is Pad Thai similar to CKT (quote middaydog). No hum and bak-pok for a start! My current favourite CKT is in the kopi-tiam at blk 132 along jln bukit merah.
At junction of lor 31/geyland main road. Kong Kee restaurant. (i in no way connected with them). This dish must come with plenty 'bak-pok' (crunch, crunch!) :D
This thing is also called 'Lok Lok' right? I saw a big banner for this makan somewhere while driving in town but can't remember exactly where liao. No flames pls, i was too hectic......
Tried them second time recently and disaster! Departure delayed 9 hours and was only informed when we were queuing to check in! Okay, never mind swallow bitter pill. However, they never let up with their nonsense as worse was to follow.
On our return, was informed just hours before flight...
