Thats becos Malaysia recognise Sg driving licence which can be used in Malaysia as long as its valid. If you dont hv a sg liccense and you wan to drive in MY then its alright for you to take up a MY driving license.what the driving center told u is correct.
I think the main answer to your question would be to find out the process for MY cars to gain entry into SG. It needs an Autopass and insurance details...so the question is is it a requirement for the owner of the vehicle to be present to obtain the Autopass and whether the driver (non-owner)...
