AStar spent $1 million per foreigner

Why are we spending hundreds of millions on foreigners when there are so many deserving singaporeans that can benefit from such generous scholarships?

The AStar scholarship start from junior college. The foreigner is given board, lodging, allowance and free schooling. Then he or she proceeds to university. They can go to any top universities in the world. Board, lodging, allowance, yearly flight home and all fees. 4 years in a top university would easily cost $250,000. Then, it is graduate studies. Another $400k spent on this foreigner. Round it up, we would have given this foreigner $1 million of scholarship. In return, he serves a 5-year bond and a free sinkapore passport.

Which sinkee won't want this deal - $1 million worth of scholarship for 5 year bond?

Note: AStar will bullshit you that this isn't true ...it will show that most of the scholarships are given to sinkees. How does it do that? After completion of first degree, these foreigners become instant sinkees. So, the scholarships for graduate studies are categorized as given to sinkees.

For Singapore, "deserving" means the candidate, regardless of race or religion, has the ability, has done well in his/her studies but is currently poor.

For Malaysia' "deserving" simply mean being a Bumiputra.

Now you know why Malaysia has been eating our dust for years and is bitter over it.

We don't pay taxes to support the world. Our taxes are intended to better the lives of sinkees, not Pinoys, Ah Tiongs or Ah Nehs. Not even angmos.

We are not supporting the world. We are only investing in the deserving. The rest of the useless world can go screw themselves.

We should use our taxes to take care of our own people, not from elsewhere. We are not entitled to help from other governments but our own government. Is the PAP the government of sinkapore or the world?

If sinkapore was part of the mudland, they would not have degenerated to its current form. It is Lee Cons U's fault.

Spending hundreds of millions of OUR tax dollars on foreigners is a blatant abuse of public finance. Our money is not for foreigners, it is for sinkees.

Only traitors like you find that acceptable. The unemployed or underemployed should skewer you.
