To a certain extent it is true what you said about Delphi, but Kojak once had his paid account suspended as well. Also, many who complaint were not paid members and in fact the trouble started by the paid members was not through their paid accounts but their clones which was also dealt with by Walt. I believe Walt helped manage a substantial number of the 200-over Joseph Ong nicks otherwise you won't have enough members for this forum today as they would have scattered.
As for forum moderators you have Windsor, singveld, jw5 and Equalisation. I don't know the fourth that well but the other 3 will do a good job. If I suggest others they may not want or have the time.
But that's not my point though thanks for asking. My only suggestion to you is to abolish the points and infraction system.

I don't mind infractions. They serve their purpose as a formal notification of disapproval. What I don't like is multiple infractions from one member for the sole purpose of banning another for 24 hours.
I guess I could re program the script so that it takes more than 10 infraction points to evoke a ban but I guess is all that would do is create more multiple infractions. There is no perfect answer to this issue.
Infractions are like giving two gangs guns - it just results in gangfights. Having moderators is like setting up a government. Although governments will never be perfect, they have a minimal job to do.
Since you already have a moderated forum, abolish the infraction system would be ideal. Otherwise the "original" forum is more like a "moderated" forum too.

Only 8 members have infraction powers. It's not as if I'm arming half of Harlem.
If you ask me I would suggest Scro (because despite what he is, he fights with language and smart wordsmith tactics but not abuse of powers, as previously seen) and TFBH because he would be the kind who can agree to disagree. But as I said they may not be willing.

Then definitely there has to be something not right when one of the 8 chaps causes another to be banned at all. Alternatively, prevent all from giving multiple infractions.
I also cant help but note that Perspective, JXL e.g. the very people Scroobal supposedly antagonized, came out to say that banning him was not necessary; yet racist scums like that Jah whom Scroobal ignores has come on even more strongly than those affected to celebrate the ban and jeer on. Your version of history is by no means 100% accurate.
But nonetheless, it is still more accurate than the blatant, shameless lies spun by Scroobal to put down those people he dislikes. The most insidious act of Scroobal is to turn victims into villians and then blame them for the death of the old forum.
In that regard, I applaud you for speaking up even in the face of such personal harassment and giving your account of history. Like you I am also amazed SamLeong and Scroobal blame Walt Howe, even when they should have known people like Andrew Loh, Choo Zheng Xi, Melvin Tan, CTL, Goh Meng Seng, Lockeliberal, EJ, Jacys, and so many others on BOTH SIDES of the political aisle were being abused on a daily basis.
Its good to know some people here still remember things did not happen the way Scroobal insist they did.
Yes the ban should not have happened. It's a result of someone who is armed with infraction powers using those powers to settle personal scores.
In the real world, it's like an armed detective who is supposed to use his weapon only in the course of his duties taking out his gun and shooting someone he's having a personal argument with.

I'm not blaming Walt Howe for causing any of the problems. Walt Howe did his job of trying to enforce the Delphi TOC which is what he was paid to do. At the same time, he had a business to protect. If I had paying members in this forum, I'd have a hard time making impartial decisions too. That's why I keep the forum non commercial.
Ultimately, the Delphi TOC did not gel with my philosophies so I decided that me and Delphi should go our separate ways after almost a decade.
Rep pts can only be given once per year to a particular forummer, so even if Jah sucks up to both vending machines, he still can get at most 40 rep points per year.
As I said, Jah bows to power and thinks anyone would be stupid not to do the same. When i point out this trait, he accuses me of dishonesty, twisting his words, and fraudulently claiming that I am accusing him of endorsing the bullying of forummers with low points.

Scroobal in 2 of his last posts before he was banned described Alamaking as having no achievements and Perspective as being uneducated.
These 2 chaps are decent forummers who are not troublemakers in the forum. Their achievements or education are irrelevant and frankly, none of our concern.
Ramseth is now laughing at all of us.
