1) Ah Nehs want face so die die must stay in condo, not necessarily more well off than Ah Tiongs
2) Ah Nehs generally work in IT, Banking or Logistic sector so slightly more upmarket than Ah Tiongs
But where are the hoardes of Ah Tiongs who bring bags of cash to buy properties here? I have come to conclusion the Ah Tiongs own many of these properties which are rented to Ah Nehs... make sense?
Flats are for the locals first and foremost, and really, if I were working and living overseas be it Hong Kong or New York I would make sure I'm doing well to be there in the first place and I wouldn't see myself living in government housing projects meant for the locals.5. the one that takes the cake... they did not come all the way from India to Singapore, to downgrade themselves to HDB!!!
From Loyang to Simei, from East Coast to city fringe, from Meyer Road to Tanjong Rhu, from River Valley to Orchard... every condo i visit they seem heavily infested with Ah Nehs (please note in this case i am not racist, i am merely anti-FT)

Fully agree with TS... Last Sunday me and the wife went to her colleague's condo at East Coast for Christmas party, and all I saw was Ah nehs, Ah nehs and more Ah nehs at the condo's compound... The condo's pool is littered with Ah Nehs having a gathering... In fact it was like Deepavali rather than Christmas..Asked my wife's colleague how she can cope with staying in a place full of these invaders from Madras.. She told me that most of them were noisy, dirty, and it can get worse during holiday period where it seems like their whole village came down to Spore to pay them a visit...
Her husband has also decided to sell off their condo unit there and moved into their parents HDB flat next year..

I had even came across 1 indian family of 3, he told me his budget is $2300 for a 3-rm rental flat(he said over the phone so long as the flat is renovated, he'll confirm rent it at $2300 and pay the deposit on the spot), after I brought him to view a well-renovated 3-rm flat, when he realized the landlord is a PRC flatowner, he suddenly says he is only willing to a pay a shocking $1700 for his flat. But that flat is well-renovated. This is a True case that occured recently.
From $2300 he went back on his word and changed to $1700, a shocking $600 less, just becos he realized the flatowner is a PRC.
