Find out the actual rental if possible. This will indicate whether owner was aware. If market rate, less likely. If rented at a good rate, more likely for owner to be aware.

In the past, units that housed beh kees paid more than market rate to entice owner to rent out. Stupidly, their contract reflected actual amount. When lesson learnt, they reflected lower rate in contract.

yes, it's nearer jajan tua kee, ooops... tua kong. the veranda-style walkway is unique to the row. there's one small family-owned eatery on the row. forgot the name. well, will be back soon. that's my recreational and exercise area from 6am to 7am. :p

Yes.. Good makan and chill out places nearby.. Used to have a drink at the 24 hr kopitiam besides the Shell kiosk and Beo the Pinays bar gals walking back home.. Soup kambing at the Mama coffeshop opposite the Siglap Ctr also taste good..

The thai and taiwanese chickens were in the leonie hill apts as I remember the incident where 2 cops kena chop in hotel Morninton and that time they use veedub beetle cars. Must be about 25 years ago. Still cheonged that area as the other case was when the towkay of the chicken rice shop kena tembak. All these were in the vicinity of the brothel when it was located in kim seng, you should know as you would have been a poodle then...
