Male tenant shocked to find naked woman in his bed at Jurong condo after returning from China trip
The man wanted to move out immediately the day after the incident.

A man who returned to Singapore from China after celebrating the Lunar New Year in his hometown was shocked to find a naked woman lying in his bed in his rented room in Jurong.
Speaking to Shin Min Daily News, the man, who wanted to remain anonymous, shared that the incident happened on Mar. 2 at The Lakeshore condominium along Jurong West Street 41.
Initially, the incident gave him such a shock that he wanted to move out immediately, but subsequently decided to call the police.
The landlord said the woman was a friend of his domestic worker and added that he was unaware the woman had stayed overnight.
How the incident unfolded
According to the man, he had signed a contract with the landlord in August 2025 for a one-year lease of the room with a monthly rent of S$1,050.He left Singapore in February to return home to China with his wife for the Lunar New Year, leaving the room empty.
When he returned on Mar. 2, he found a woman lying naked from the waist up and wearing only underwear sleeping in his bed.
The man added that the woman was startled awake upon hearing him open the door and immediately told him to close the door so that she could get dressed, and then hurriedly left.
"I clearly remember locking the door before leaving. It's really shocking to suddenly see someone lying in my bed," he exclaimed.
"Luckily, my wife didn't come back with me otherwise I would have been in serious trouble," he added.
Woman was a friend of the domestic worker who had worked late
When he contacted his landlord about the matter, the landlord explained that the woman was a friend of his domestic worker.She worked at a massage parlour, and had stayed overnight as she left work late and had no bus to take home, Shin Min reported.
The man said he also told the landlord that he wanted to move out immediately the day after the incident, and asked him to return the rent and deposit for the month, totalling S$2,100.
However, the landlord purportedly refused on the grounds that the contract had not yet expired.
This angered the tenant, who made a report to the police.
The man added that he stayed until Mar. 31 before leaving to avoid losing his deposit.
He claimed that during this period, he suffered from insomnia and had to take sick leave from work as a result of the incident.
When contacted by Shin Min, the landlord confirmed the incident and said he was initially unaware about it until he was contacted by his tenant and made further inquiries.
The landlord said that after the tenant returned to his home country, the domestic worker knew the room was empty, and thus let the woman enter the room to lie down for a while.
The landlord added that he also educated his domestic worker about the issue afterwards and had instructed her to wash the sheets to address his tenant's dissatisfaction.
"When he moved out, I also refunded him a day's rent and the deposit. I think I have been very sincere," he said.
In response to Shin Min's queries, the police confirmed that they had received a report about the matter.
