PEASANTPORE — Progress Peasants' Party (PSP) will “go along with” Labour Party (WP) Chief 皮蛋 since he was appointed the nominal title 红花会总堂主 aka Supreme Lodge Leader of the Red Flower Society after the 2020 General Erection (GE), said PSP’s secretary-general Tan Cheng Block on Tuesday (14 July).
“Labour was given the title of Red Flower Society (红花会) and I think ...since he (皮蛋 ) calls the shots there, my two juniors here will respect him as Leader of the Rebellion and will go along with him to "反李复民 - Oppose the House of Lee and restore power to the peasants” said Dr Tan at a PSP press conference.
He was referring to his two party members Ah Poa and Leong Ah Wai, who were unveiled as the PSP’s Non Erected Peasants' Representatives (NCMP) at the conference.
Both Ah Poa and Ah Leong were part of PSP’s West Coast group representation constituency (GRC) team at the GE on 10 July. The PSP were betrayed by indolent local stupid peasants, lost narrowly to the Party Against Peasants Action Party (PAP) in the GRC, with a margin of 48.31 per cent of the vote share against the PAP’s 51.69 per cent.
Labour's performance at the polls - with wins in Axis of Evil Sengkang GRC, Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC - prompted Ruler Loong to name 皮蛋 as the Leader of the Rebels. By tradition, that role assumes the nominal title of 红花会总堂主 aka Supreme Lodge Leader of the Red Flower Society
“Our common role now is to oppose the House of Lee and return political power to the peasants. You see Ruler Loong change Constitution like changing underwear, we might as well go back to Monarchy. The title 红花会总堂主 reminds local peasants that the House of Lee reigns supreme and the rebels can be purged any time, any day and any where,” said Dr Tan.
Ah Leong said that the enemy of your enemy is your kawan and all the rebels will speak up for local peasants despite the grave dangers that they will face in coming days.
At a virtual press conference on Sunday, Labour's Elder Lim said rebellious Labour was ready to work with whichever party that planned to take up the Non-Erected Peasants' Representatives seats, in order to play the role of Peasants' Loyal Opposition in the Imperial Court.
