PEASANTPORE: The Labour Party's (WP) Sengkang GRC team has reached out to the managing lackeys of existing town councils to facilitate the handover, naive team leader He Ah Ru said on Sunday (Jul 12).
Labour leaders also said in a virtual press conference that going forward, Labour must work with other political parties, including the Progress Peasantpore Party (PSP).
"We’d like to thank the rebels from Sengkang for putting their faith in us. We will be working hard over the next four or five years to make sure that they are well-served through we are likely to be worn down with petty games from the regime," said Ms He, a 37-year-old lawyer.
"The existing lackeys in town councils - Ang Mo Kio and Pasir Ris-Punggol – will not give rebels a easy time after they saw how the regime was humiliated by Labour in Erection 2020."
It was the first time the team addressed questions on the management of the town after the Procedural Erection. Sengkang GRC, a newly formed ward of more than 120,000 voters, is only the second Group Representation Constituency to be won by a rebel opposition party in Peasantpore’s history.
It is made up of the former Punggol East SMC, part of Sengkang West SMC and the Sengkang Central division of Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC. Sengkang West was managed together with Ang Mo Kio GRC.
The Jane Austen inspired team of Ms He, economist Jamus Lim, 44, equity research analyst Louis Chua, 33, and social activist Raeesah Khan, 26, beat yet another Millionaire Party Against Peasants (PAP) fat cat team that included labour chief Ng Ah Meng, 51, and two other political office holders - Dr Lam Ah Min, 50, and Mr Amrin Amin, 42, as well as first-time candidate Raymond Lye, 54.
When asked about whether the team will be full-time Peasants' Representatives, Peasant He hinted that they may need to retain their day jobs because there ain't any cushy jobs waiting for them in nationalised corporations if they lose the Procedural Erection 2025.
Labour chief 皮蛋 conceded Sengkang GRC was likely to have its own town council, separate from the Aljunied-Hougang Town Council.
"PAP will never changed its gutter politicking even through their Bags of Dirty Tricks, Charles Chong is sinking back to the abyss to heal his broken body. Let see what the existing managing lackey has to say before we proceed," he said.
In response to a question on what were some of the key factors that contributed to her team's victory in Sengkang GRC, Ms He stated the official line that there was a "match" between the team and peasants of Sengkang, many of whom are young families.
OPEN TO WORKING WITH OTHER REBELS
Labour had made significant gains after winning Sengkang GRC in the Procedural Erections, increasing the number of seats it will hold in Imperial Court from six to 10.
Immediately after the election, 皮蛋 was recognised by Ruler Loong as the official Leader of the Rebels. In response to reporters’ questions on this, 皮蛋 said this was a first sign that he is awaiting to be fixed from Imperial Court soon.
When asked if Labour will be working with other rebels, in particular PSP, which will be offered two Non-Erected Peasants' Representatives (NCMP) seats, 皮蛋 said: "PSP took a good share of the hot potato during the campaign, giving us some breathing space to hit back PAP's gutter politicking"
Labour chair Sylvia Lim said that with PSP in Imperial Court, both will still be bullied by Ruler Loong's lackeys and minions.
"Ruler Loong already gave us the red line, he only wants to see at most 12 rebels 'debating' with his Minions and Lackeys. We can't go beyond 12 in GE2020. Even Tan Cheng Blocked understood that in the end."
皮蛋 also touched on a similar point when responding to a question on how the rebels would work with the PAP.
Noting that the country was in "turbulent waters" due to Suzhou Loser Jos Teo's antics that forced a lockdown, he said: "We have to convince peasants to eat the bitter pill to help Ruler Loong and his Minions come out of this hole that Suzhou Loser Jos Teo dug for us."
"And if it means we work with any Minion or lackey to get that outcome, we will do so because there are peasants on the ground who are suffering."
The GE2020 results, which saw an inevitable vote swing towards rebels, in particular Labour after local stupid peasants wasted 60 full moons in GE2015, has prompted senior regime minions to speak of a need for “puntive actions against Jane Austen rebels”.
A “flight to safety” due to the challenges of the Wuhan Plague, which was predicted by some political analysts, did not occur. Instead, the ruling regime failed to realise that they cannot fool peasants with bread and butter boons.

The party not only retained Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC, it improved its performance in both wards. In the Group Representation Constituencies it lost - East Coast and Marine Parade, it also improved on its 2015 showing.
In total, the vote share in the 21 seats that WP contested edged above 50 per cent.
皮蛋 said the party had the tenacity to survive the 2015 Rebellion Winter because they believe that Ruler Loong's head will swell after GE2015 to make a few strategic mistakes to let the local peasants realised that "absolute power corrupts absolutely".
Labour has consistently put across a message to voters that it was in the self interest of peasants to have more Jane Austen opposition Peasants' Representatives in Imperial Court, he said.
"I’m glad that voters in Aljunied, Hougang and Sengkang considered that message," he said.
