I think there has been a change. The younger voters below 40 are not happy.
So in new estates like sengkang you saw what happened.
Otherwise the older parents still have a strong influence on their children.
The PM Lee should receive the message loud and clear from the young and middle age voters:
1. CCS, Iswaran and HSK are not popular with the young and middle age voters due to unfair CECA agreement, CCS tried to divert the attention to FTA, but voters are generally strongly against this unfair agreement. Luckily with ignorant PG and MG PAP supporters, three of them managed to survive. But, in the next election, if there is no revise of CECA agreement and significantly reduced in foreign PMET, with new young voters and reduced number of PG & MG, the 3 GRC, EC, MP and WC, even TP, will be easily taken over by WP in no time.
2. The price of HDB flats, stagnant of salary and cost of living, will be another killing factor for PAP, young voters are very unhappy of the HDB flat selling price, small and very expensive. They are not keen in the grants, they just want a straight forward reasonable selling price.
3. Jobs displaced by foreign PMET or doing a lower rank jobs whereas foreign PMET is holding a high pay jobs, even they are better qualified.
If nothing change in the policy in a short period of time, PAP will incur more drastic losses in the near future elections, more and unhappy qualified young candidates will join opposition parties.
