1. All the oppie parties, use the wordings on rally stage backdrop. It will get broadcast live to every household.
2. Voters if they get the message, they will be swing to vote for it regardless of the opposition party. So all the opposition parties will gain, win-win situation.
3. Next election, PAP likely dares not suka suka redraw contituency boundaries

In GE2020, the Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC was contested by SDA, but now that Punggol has been separated into its own GRC, who will take on the GRC? (The SDA has moved to contest in the Pasir Ris-Changi GRC.) So, should the PAP protect the East Coast or Punggol GRC? Their bet could have been that the WP will try to hold on to the East Coast GRC, and the WP taking on Punggol GRC may have caught the PAP by surprise.
