PAP:
1. Squandered S$300m on YOG when its budget was S$100m. How did PAP get it so badly wrong?
2. Brought in millions of 3rd world unqualified, unskilled trash instead of real foreign talents

The PAP haters are blind and illogical. They simply cannot accept that Singapore is ranked highly by the rest of the world. They question the validity of the figures with no data to the contrary whatsoever.
Even WHO isn't trusted. They'll accuse the PAP of feeding false information without a shred of evidence that this is happening.
They then accuse those who appreciate the PAP of "lying".
If healthcare is so bad and people are left to die then why is Singapore's life expectancy one of the highest in the world?

I believe experiences from singaporeans who cant afford Singapore's health care. Try do some checking yourself and dont just read from published articles

I am enjoying my life in SG. But I feel that many singaporeans have been deprived of their lives by pap. and I have been proven right many times.

PAP doesnt believe in permanent friends. As long as that friend doesnt serve pap's interests, pap will turn away from him.
Look at how PAP behaves with regards to China. China will teach LHL a hard lesson. I heard that a Chinese Minister came to SG for an Official visit. He was speaking to SG businessmen in an official function. He taunted the SG businessmen:
"Your govt has sided with USA on the South China Seas issue. I want to hear your stand on it!"
There was dead silence after that. They knew China means business and they expect bad times ahead for SG businesses in China.
Let us see how a deteriorating USA can help LHL

I am one of them. I used to hate the PAP but after broadening my mind and living in other countries I realised just how good the PAP is.
why dont you justify why you hated the pap?
Just as you now know a Mr Lau who just became aware of the 'evils' of the PAP , I know a Mr Tan and a Ms Lim who have come to realise that but for the good that the PAP had done, they would be in a hopeless situation now in their old age.
Last year's GE results already showed that at least 100,000 GE2011 Opposition voters flipped and voted for the PAP, which I've already explained to you only two days ago for at least the second time, so now it's at least the third time:

I think it's safe to say that between GE2011 and GE2015, more Sinkies became much more knowledgeable about the PAP, and yet what was the result?

Couple of points:
1. That is not a suicide rate, but the total number of suicides (possibly also including foreigners).
According to the "Samaritans of Singapore":

the total number of suicides in 1995 was 401, not 271.
Therefore, the increase was only about 16%, even though the total population (including foreigners) increased by over 40%.
2. Even if all 467 suicides in 2012 were committed by Sinkie citizens; the citizen population was slightly over 3 million, let's say 3.2 million; so the suicide rate was actually 467 / 3.2 million x 100,000 = about 15 suicides per 100,000 citizens in 2012.
Which means that the suicide rate in 2012 was at most only slightly higher than, or even nearly the same as, the rate in 1995.

There's nothing to justify. When I lived in Singapore I had the impression that the PAP was oppressive and their policies were poor but that is because I had no basis of comparison.
After spending time abroad I came to realise why certain policies are necessary and how efficient the government is.
So finally you see the light and admit that it is a good thing that people come to their senses and turn to the PAP. You have hope yet.
why did you think the pap was oppressive?
