is it a coincident that those who are highly against the PAP are very healthy and free of cancer? That is his bad karma of serving the PAP, especially being a grassroot sinkie loser and being stupid.
I like this whole list, quite similar to my list of sinkie behaviour. Have you thought of making different colour for alternate line rather than all red.
If I did not have first hand experience of the excellence of the Singapore health system I would reserve comment.
However I have personally experienced just how good the system is when I was taking care of my aging parents and their health related issues.
Many Singaporeans in NZ who kept their sinkie citizenship invariably go back to Singapore for treatment should they come face to face with a serious illness. Although NZ healthcare is funded by the taxpayer it takes forever to get treatment because the queues are so long.
People like myself who don't trust the NZ public health system have to fork out a huge amount every month for private healthcare in order to receive prompt treatment.
Private health insurance is a booming business in NZ as a result of an inadequate public health system. I've ended up having to pay twice over because my taxes are supposed to fund my treatment should things go wrong.
Do you consider this statement a lie coming from your good self?
"NS makes eunuchs out of SG guys"
The PAP haters are blind and illogical. They simply cannot accept that Singapore is ranked highly by the rest of the world. They question the validity of the figures with no data to the contrary whatsoever.
Even WHO isn't trusted. They'll accuse the PAP of feeding false information without a shred of evidence that this is happening.
They then accuse those who appreciate the PAP of "lying".
If healthcare is so bad and people are left to die then why is Singapore's life expectancy one of the highest in the world?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy
Are all the organisations that calculate the figures being fed lies? Are death certificates being falsified? If this is so then where is the proof?
Do you think NS makes SG guys obedient?
Very few other places are as good as Singapore but you in your jealousy ryt to sabotage the good life here. You should stop this nonsense as some of the less intelligent here can start to believe what you post , since you post often enough to deceive them. I maintain that you have a sinister agenda and that you post irresponsibly.
I hear that many who were once anti PAP have seen the error of their ways as they grew older and mellowed in their views and became more realistic in their expectations. They now agree that were it not for the PAP we would be overwhelmed by our the countries around us. I daresay that you are not a Singaporean but one of those jealous neighbours who actively wish for our downfall.
Pap is a fair weather friend
why dont you just show one of them?
I am one of them. I used to hate the PAP but after broadening my mind and living in other countries I realised just how good the PAP is.
why dont you just show one of them?
Last year's GE results already showed that at least 100,000 GE2011 Opposition voters flipped and voted for the PAP, which I've already explained to you only two days ago for at least the second time, so now it's at least the third time:why dont you just show one of them?
I think it's safe to say that between GE2011 and GE2015, more Sinkies became much more knowledgeable about the PAP, and yet what was the result?
Or if you think there was a miscount, does that mean the opposition parties failed in their double-checking last year?
As I've said before about two weeks ago, at least 100,000 (that's about 4% of the eligible voters) GE2011 opposition voters flipped and voted for the PAP last year:
sammyboy.com/showthread.php?235838-This-Is-Terrible-and-Horrible&p=2515882#post2515882
I have never taken part in such a useless way of rebelling/protesting, whether at Hong Lim Park or anywhere else.
And the GE2015 result is the proof:
sammyboy.com/showthread.php?216301-VALID-Opposition-votes-for-GE2011-was-803-482-but-654-289-(ex-TP-GRC)-for-GE2015
I dare say that at both GE2011 and GE2015, at least roughly 45% of the valid votes were from women, and at least another roughly 15% from male civil/public servants (including regulars in the SAF and Police), male employees of GLCs, and old men in their 60s and 70s.
And for GE2015, the remaining 10% came from new citizens, ignorant/delusional/cowardly/greedy male Sinkie first-time voters in their 20s, and finally at least 100,000 (at least 4% of the eligible voters) male voters who voted for some opposition party at GE2011 but flipped and voted for the PAP at GE2015. :*:
Just as you now know a Mr Lau who just became aware of the 'evils' of the PAP , I know a Mr Tan and a Ms Lim who have come to realise that but for the good that the PAP had done, they would be in a hopeless situation now in their old age.
sammyboy.com/showthread.php?236261-Collection-of-PAP-s-Misdeeds&p=2522912#post25229123. Increased SG suicide rate from 271 in 1995 to 467 in 2012. An increase of 70%.
Couple of points:
1. That is not a suicide rate, but the total number of suicides (possibly also including foreigners).
According to the "Samaritans of Singapore":
sos.org.sg/images/facts-figures/Nationalstats.pdf
the total number of suicides in 1995 was 401, not 271.
Therefore, the increase was only about 16%, even though the total population (including foreigners) increased by over 40%.
2. Even if all 467 suicides in 2012 were committed by Sinkie citizens; the citizen population was slightly over 3 million, let's say 3.2 million; so the suicide rate was actually 467 / 3.2 million x 100,000 = about 15 suicides per 100,000 citizens in 2012.
Which means that the suicide rate in 2012 was at most only slightly higher than, or even nearly the same as, the rate in 1995.
why dont you justify why you hated the pap?
That's good.
Can elaborate more on how Mr Tan was for the Opposition and what made him turn to pap now?
Can you tell us more abt Ms Lim? Which party she supported and why she is thankful to the pap now?
There's nothing to justify. When I lived in Singapore I had the impression that the PAP was oppressive and their policies were poor but that is because I had no basis of comparison.
After spending time abroad I came to realise why certain policies are necessary and how efficient the government is.
