Oh, I refer to motor bikers..

^^You referring to motorbike bikers or bicycle cyclists? Seems the CH is a very popular area for cyclists based on my experience. I prefer to take the right most lane since the cyclists will occupy the left most lane.

I think if you drive a Hilux/Triton/Ranger/Dmax you may be more of a target since these pick-ups are apparently highly desired by thieves

What you say is so true.. This happen everywhere. When one is rich and powerful, he will have lots of friends or people who will try to make him happy.. That's why sometime people want to drive big cars and looked rich.. It leads to more business opening..

When one is down, all will run away.. except your wife and family.. If wife also run away, then find a better one.. Best to find one before you are successful..
Life is short, don't need to put your friends to test.. At the end it is just 2x6 or 3x7 or 4x8 is one is big..

Very true, its good to know your good friends, always keep the good ones around and reciprocate their kindness. I always have gratitude to them, especially those who trusted me enough to come in and see things for themselves. Whether they buy or not is definitely secondary but at least they came.

A friend wanted me to be a reference recently, i gave a very glowing review and even called him to inform him after that. I even told her that we are trying our very best to keep him as it is a loss to our company. Another mutual friend in the same company who was his reference was less than enthusiastic and did not call him or inform him that the call took place at all and he had to check before he replied.

The HR lady who called me also asked me about "reliability" as well as any "issues" with him which i found weird.

Sigh, so true about the fair weather friends and even spouse we may encounter in life. Thats why i seldom if ever make new friends these days, those good ones are well cherished in my heart and closer than even most relatives can ever be. I was very lucky, i got mine at a very young age back when i was still penniless and hopeless. As with all things in life, everything needs to be maintained, even relationships with the spouse, etc as people tend to forget kindness and feelings after a while.

Scary call from a friend just now. A good bro of mine from Canada, when he shared about Legoland to his friends. Many of them scoffed and said its at most a small house or something tiny and that the Legoland must be a copied one as there is no way Lego will ever consider Malaysia.

It surprised him to see how closed minded people are even though they are supposedly well educated or travelled but i told him, it is what it is, perception is everything i guess. I think Lego should do more marketing. Same thing they said about Hello Kitty as well, they said its definitely not a Sanrio theme park.

Be careful of those Proton Evolution X or Peruoda WRX STI

Once I accelerated back to Horizon at usual speed of 100km/hour, one Proton Evo X thought I was racing with him and came up next to me. That time I was a new resident and is very kiasi about security in JB so I thought he was trying to car-jack me. Within seconds sped to 150km/hour and the guards ( now defunct ) stood up to check when I sped past him. Think he radioed The Golf security as when I entered the Taman I was stopped by security and asked if I was in trouble. Now I don't really bother about racers who think I am racing with them. No car jackers either and I spent my weekends driving leisurely along Puteri Harbour and Coastal highway to relax. Almost zero car around the new Maboro college.

Bro, not to worry, even if you drive a bigger car, there are some who will follow you home if you overtake them. I have written about this in the past before.

Yesterday was about 3am when i finished work and went for a quick bite, a white vehicle i overtook tried to race me. It was an unfair race as i was driving a higher hp vehicle, full of goods, etc and anyway i always refrain from racing whenever possible. Even when one wins, there is no glory in such things, at least for me.

In the end i resisted the temptation but still in the end as someone moved into his lane, even when i was travelling normally, he lagged behind. In the end, he tried to follow up the hill to HH, thinking he could be a resident in the Golf or Hills. I didn't think much of it when he drove past to go to another development. Curiosity made me do a u turn in Gateway and drive out as i felt he was tailing me.

After he saw my vehicle coming out, he quickly high tailed it out of there.

This reminds me of the guy who tried to race my wife one time at 50kmph.....while we were driving out to the coffeeshop nearby.

After hearing lots of engine growling noises, we expected to see him shoot past us. Instead, 20-30 seconds down, still the same. More growling and yet more growling, still he couldn't over take, this was even though my wife has no intention whatsoever to race him, i even asked her to slow down to allow him to overtake. In the end, he was still behind, so to save him from more embarrassement, i told my wife to drive 60kmph to end the "race"

Kaka, below is one of many example of members getting infraction for quoting huge chunks of posts.

U may go to "Infraction Log" to observe how one can get infraction other than quoting whole passages.

A bit annoyed really... ;-p... Wattodo... Just have to wait till Legoland really opens and that will hopefully open up ppl's eyes to iskandar... Which many still sniggers at..

Cant blame cos KL ppl not so familiar with JB stuff cos they are far away frm johor unlike sporeans so near to jb and can see things happening and frm past grandious projects by the govt (e.g multimedia super corridor to become Msia's silicon valley) in Klang Valley, not surprising there is a healthy dose of skepticism.

Heck even I(msian working and living in Sg) for many years still retain some skepticism on the grandious stuff announced by the govt due to past experience. But I am more easily convinced becos of my proximity compared to my Klang Valley bethren.

I have similar experience.. KL folks generally think lowly of Johor and thought it is dangerous without realising KL is as dangerous..

Many such high level corporate servants have something in common.. They are comfortable in Singapore and shut themselves out from anything related to Johor..

To be fair, Johor has very bad track record in keeping their promises.
KL track record is better.

Great to c. I think hello kitty appeals to more audience, including adults as compared to Lego. I have frens that r realli crazy about hello kitty n the oldest I know is coming to 40 soon! N she has her husband's car fully decorated wif hello kitty stuffs ... I feel for her husband hehe

Wow! Almost 600 tickets already sold for 1-day visit to the 2 indoor theme parks at Puteri Harbour, Hello Kitty Land and The Little Big Park. The tickets sold better than Legoland's 1-day visit. Check out some details of the theme parks at deal.com http://www.deal.com.sg/deals/singapore/1-Day-Visit-to-Hello-Kitty-Land-Includes-2-Way-Air-Conditioned-Coach-Optional-Visit-to-Johor-Premium-Outlet
