Two new infraction categories - Please take note

how about ... "boss, whats that sticking out from your bike seat ?"

got style or not, bro ?

that one abit too obvious bro ...maybe can say boss , " you are so creative in modlify your transport " . try to stay away from the word bike , if you want to mention something sticking out ...... very sensitive you know ;)

Here's an example. The moron suggested that a patient with major trauma from a serious road accident could be taken to KK [a maternity hospital] because it's nearer.

That is a display of extreme ignorance AND stupidity. It's like suggesting that if your car's having problems, try taking it to a bicycle shop if it's nearer to see whether the bike mechanic can fix it.

for all you noe, he might assume being a hospital, its A&E can take in emergency cases.

so, if i say, in jest, 1+1 = 3, you gonna infract me for stupidity?

hahaha ... you are right , must learn to be more creative liao ...:D

hi there

1. bro, choon boh?
2. i am always on the constant lookout for some individual on a seatless bike in toa payoh hoh.
3. honest, if ever i spot this individual.
4. i shall challenge mah.
5. pray that sammy does not worship in chc!
6. if so, i need to go to chc too.

depends on his mood bro ...sometimes he can be christain in that folder ...we never know ;)

as i say, this is a casual forum, people come to post comments , thots, opinons - if i have to research everything that i write to ensure its factually correct i might as well go post in CNA forum?

You are still at complete liberty to post whatever you want. The only difference is that there is a specific infraction category to slap you with should you post recklessly and spew ridiculous drivel. It's only 3 points so it's not going to curtail free speech.

i am protesting because it is against the spirit of free speech. not because of 3 points.

boss...i think this category will discourage participation. I dont think many guys intend to purposely post the kind of stuff you seek to

punish. They post because they want to contribute and they honestly think their posts are valid.

you might like to use back the old system where getting an infraction will also get rep points deducted.

exactly, if he wants, he can place this restriction on other folders - but at least leave the original folder untouched. Despite what he say, you can post whatever you want but i can elect to "infract" you for something i deem stupid, its restricting free speech - how can it be free if there is a shadow of infraction hanging over everything you post?

its like SAF, you can do anything, jus don't get caught.

That is one good reason it is not good as there is no consistency. Only when "caught in the act."

yes i agree with you.....thats why this section is not moderated. This infraction hanging like the sword of Damocles could inhibit posts

especially from new guys and also guys who dont take kindly to being infracted. I disagree with BosSam on this.

instead of infracting....the post could be sent to the rubbish heap if admin thinks thats where it belongs.

He had already said how to monitor every post when there are 1500 posts a day? That is my argument that some members will not be infracted as theirs might be missed.

Only a handful of members can issue infractions. They are

All are mature and level headed so the scenario where members are being infracted to death just for expressing a radical opinion isn't very likely.

That's when people like me will come in to baotoh

whahahaha...you very " black heart " leh ;)

infractions don't hurt. most forummers usually clear off those infractions, not kenna banned within the specified time period.

getting rep points deducted might hurt for some forummers. :D
