Men 4x 100m relay freestyle sg came in 4th.
Sg team came out looking very proud .
In fact most team came out walking proudly except India the most humble team walking bare footed. Why the need to come out with all these fanciful attire? Wear sports shoe for fark Immediately will need to strip what.

singapore might just have a chance on the podium tonight for 4x100m women's team medley relay.

not because the sinkie gals are up to mark.

it's because in the heats just concluded less than half an hour ago, china ccp team got disqualified because the first swimmer wang xuer started her backstroke plunge before the horn was sounded and whole team disqualified because of her stupidity.

last asian games in jarkarta, sinkie gals got 3rd this event. but having said that, the koreans swimmers are exceptional in these games unlike in jarkata in 2018. so the sinkie gals might just find themselves fourth again behind hongkong korea japan despite ccp china swim team disqualifying themselves giving sinkie gals half ball chance.

Siobhán Haughey built upon the life-changing success of 2021’s double silver medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games and 200m freestyle world record at the Fina World Swimming Championships with more competition wins, public honours and major brand endorsements. In October 2022, she was crowned overall winner at the first stop of the Fina Swimming World Cup in Berlin, with gold medals in each of the the women’s 100m, 200m and 400m freestyle events, and won gold in the 100m and 200m Fina Swimming World Cup second leg in Toronto later that month.
She and Tokyo gold medal-winning fencer Edgar Cheung Ka-long were named “best of the best” at the Hong Kong Sports Stars Awards in September 2022. “I do what I love every day in the swimming pool. I enjoy ample support and am truly glad that sports can bring the community together. I hope my actions will make me a role model for everyone and bring honour to our city,” said Haughey in a statement after the ceremony.
Since the Games, she has used her platform to speak about the mental toll taken not only by performing at a consistently high level in sport but being in the public eye, as well as her passion for encouraging young Hongkongers to invest themselves in sport. “I especially want kids to know that they can achieve anything, and just because no one has done it before, doesn’t mean they can’t do it; just because no one from Hong Kong had won an Olympic medal in swimming before, didn’t mean I couldn’t do it,” she said in her June cover interview with Tatler.
The Haughey effect has been palpable in Hong Kong: local swimming clubs reported a surge in interest from young people inspired by the swimmer’s success. Haughey, however, remains down to earth, and maintains her reputation for being one of the friendliest, most cheerful and most gracious athletes in sport.
