TWO men were charged in court yesterday in connection with Sunday’s fracas at Orchard Towers, which also involved the driver and passenger of a Ferrari.
Mohammad Saddan Yusoff, 21, and Yusri Yusoff, 39, were charged with rioting, an offence that carries a maximum penalty of 10 years’ jail and caning.
The Straits Times understands that the driver of the black Ferrari and his passenger are assisting the police in their investigations.
The incident on Sunday apparently started after the driver failed to stop at a zebra crossing on Claymore Drive and almost hit a pedestrian who belonged to a group of six men.
Details of the incident remain unclear but a video of the scuffle, which was recorded by a bystander and posted on the Internet, showed the passenger challenging the group to a fight.
Pointing at one of the six men, the passenger, who appeared to be in his 50s, said “come here” in Mandarin before they started trading blows.
The others joined in within seconds and rained blows on the passenger after they cornered him against a wall outside Harry’s Bar nearby.

If you are the senior officer in charge of this case, you would have found out how much this fat fuck contributed to the country through his annual income tax, his road rax, the income tax his highly successful KTV pays, his GST, his whatever tax. All his total tax contributions in one year should most likely exceed the lifetime earnings of these 2 mats, who in the govt's eyes are liabilities to the country's resources. Have 7 kids on welfare, in and out of taxpayer-supported prison and drug rehab, rental HDB at taxpayer subsidised rates, etc.
