Chitchat Would you date someone who earns less than $2,500/mth?

What car u bought? 1 year loan. U may as well fully paid with 0 interest to save more. U really think everyone here are idiots!
You have obviously never owned a car in S'pore, you low SES loser. For buyers with high liquidity, taking a small short-term loan of 1 year is done to benefit from the discount given by the car dealer for financing from their partner bank. Paying entirely by cash, even if a buyer can afford it, means paying the full car price i.e. no discount. If you don't even know this, it proves you have never purchased a car before.

Wealthy car buyers who take a 1-year loan for a new car in S'pore, minimise the total interest payable while not subjecting themselves to long term debt. The downside are the extremely high monthly repayments over 12 months. A 1-year tenure secures lower interest rates, not to mention a discount off the purchase price as car dealers want to refer business to their partner bank. That PMA rider "rocket" knows absolutely nothing about car financing. Hahaha!
