If rumours of faction rivalry between LHL and GCT exist, then Aljunied maybe a good dumping ground for LHL to get rid of his rival from within.

In any case I think GCT will be ideal candidate to anchor the team. His MP GRC is just next to Aljunied and residents should be quite familiar with him. What more is he is expected to retire and his exit is of little consequences to the cabinet. The only thing is no one will like to end their 30 years of political career by losing.

In the end she lan lan sold the unit for the agreed price after 6 months from signing the contract instead of the usual 6 weeks to do so. D:
