I'd advise Thaksin to advise Yingluck to get some nukes, but their political position is not that secure to convince US, UK or France to sell it to them. Their demographic position is compelling though, there's already Hindu nukes with India, Islamic nukes with Pakistan. Thailand is best candidate for Buddhist nukes to balance the powers.

Good grief! That for a 2-hour fight? AirAsia or Jetstar is up to 90% cheaper and just as good. It's only a 2-hour flight, there's no such thing as 5-star service on a 2-hour flight. Most of the time is check-in, take-off, landing and check-out. Don't try Tiger Air though. There's such thing as bad service after I tested it once, and never again.

$556+, should be around that price, last time i took around $448+, TG airport tax at BKK airport is $100+ i think. Normally will take CX, around $360-380.

Yes no more Tiger. I don't really like AirAsia Thailand, often delay. Jetstar is ok. I like to be sure of the time la so I need to take TG.

I go Bangkok or Phuket usually S$100+/- only (all in one way, i.e. S$200+/- roundtrip). Jetstar is best for Bangkok and AirAsia is best for Phuket. For you MU fan, AirAsia is MU partner and sells lots of MU souvenirs on board.

Anyway like I've said, it's just a short flight, there's no point overpaying. I've tried Finnair and Swissair to Bangkok before too. Yeah, yeah, yeah, slight more classy but what for? After taking off and leveling flight, seat belt sign off and hardly have the a time for a proper meal and drink, seal belt sign on again, prepare for landing.
