There is a big difference between admiring someone and supporting their policies. I'm pretty much against everything Goh Meng Seng stands for. However, I am an admirer of his courage and determination.

you guys give gms far too much credit for selling his house to finance his political pursue.
if he is any good financially or brainwise he wouldn't need to be selling his house in order to get some $$ to finance his GE adventure. anyway how can anyone be sure that he uses all the $$ he got from selling his house for GE only? maybe he uses some to settle his debts or buy some fancy stuff or pay for his sex romps?
i am not saying he cannot do this as afterall it is his own $$. i am saying it is too simplistic to assume that he has spend the $$ he has gotten from selling his house in GE only and nothing else.
