Singaporeans Bak Kwa Madness!!!!

Why bak kwa tradition for CNY? Was it because last time CNY means two whole weeks without fresh meat and home fridge, hence need to eat bak kwa?

Anyway no such tradition in my family. I believe a lot is businesses buying as corporate gifts. But bak kwa is so unhealthy, it is like asking customers to die quickly. Not auspicious leh.

These I buy for own consumption. But when businessmen buy unhealthy stuff as gifts, then as good as gifting knives and unholy stuff mah. Where got people gift others stuff that harms them? Yet they absolutely will not gift clocks because of the name.

Haven't eaten the stuff in years. Too much sugar & salt is used. Fried meats are also carcinogenic.

you right narong. lny bak kwa tastes better lah...shiok!!! they got more flavour - add some secret lny flavour. from ordinary $40 per kilo to $60 per kilo...and you can still see long queues!!! singaporeans are very rich people...

new year fish $200 per kilo also got people queueing to buy!
