Don't be surprised when that nickname tried to discredit the photo by claiming it was some kind of cheap forgery. Actually, I'm not that keen to engage him but I've been disturbed by his willingness to keep repeating untruths until they are accepted as truths.
hahaha....HTOLAS, i gave you some face and u gave me a blow below the belt.....
i went to great length to dig up the ST reports on 1 Sep 1963 to have an insight into the so called UDI and yet u all still insist on your myopic views....
u are just another simpletom idiot who are led by the nose....
u think international relationship is masak masak???
if LKY did a UDI, it is tantamount to treason and the Brits cannot pretend like it never happened.....
they have to defend their pride....
they even went to war with Argentina over Falklands and you are naive to assume that they are simply unwilling to act against lky where they could have crushed him like a crockcroach
as for the proclaimation, it was clearly dated as from 16th Sep 1963, the very day Singapore joined the Federation...so it all fell into piece that Singapore only became independent from Britain on the day it joined the Federations as spelled out in the Agreement/Malaysian Act.
as for the proclaimation about the rights in the 4th para, it was mambo and jambo and shiok sendiri.... avoding key words like ïndependent/sovereign...
Now anyone with half a brain will be able to tell who is clutching at straws...

Thank you very much for spending so much of your time to address my points. It is clear that because you remain unmoved by reason and evidence, we will never agree on this. Such being the case, and since the evidence that UDI had occurred is clear to most other people, I shall withdraw from this discussion. If you feel the need to have the last word, words, sentences, paragraphs, theses on this, be my guest.

Thank you and good night.

What a scumbag! With all the evidence, the retard still hangs on to straws.

Same as the argument - your mother cannot be fucking somebody else becos she's married to your father. What a Loser! She MAY not but she can always find ways to, if she wants.

Why dont you explain the proclamation, para. 4, and what was written by Edwin Lee? The ST on 1 Sep 1963 which he himself saw also had a report that LKY punched his fist 3 times in the air and proclaimed Merdeka.

Of cos, the scumbag will now say he didnt say "Independence", but used the word Merdeka to mambo jumbo the Brits.

Uber joker, this guy.

When the other person refuses to acknowledge the facts, the debate is effectively over. Anyone reading the thread can judge.

Pov, merdeka etc, he can be in the Russian Circus as a contortionist.

hahaha......what a bunch of scum....
the proclaimation clearly did not state that singapore was an independent sovereign country from 1 sep to 15 sep 1963....so what evidence are we talking about????

We read their debate intensely.
Quite interesting to learn that one stands for 1963, while the other refuses.
May be, it is related to politics!
Or, ego!

hahaha...this has nothing to do with politics or ego....
the facts are all presented....
the ST report dated 1st Sep 1963...
the Malaysian Act...
the Proclaimation...
You can read it with an open mind and form your own conclusion.
In fact the Prolaimation is the last piece of information to confirm that LKY did not declareSingapore to be a sovereign independent country on 31st Aug 1963.

Here is an analogy.

If we know that Sideswipe is with his second wife and if we asked him when he was first married, he cannot state that he was not married before unless that marriage was annulled. Sideswiped cannot say that its immaterial. The fact is that the event occurred. Whether its is important or not is a whole different matter.

Prof Edwin Lee is a well regarded Historian. Ever wondered why he put it in his book.

These guys do not know the meaning of fact, pov, etc. Now even the definition of materiality is not understood.

Let it rest, lah. Kingrant has done a good job and exhibited extraordinary tenacity in being as clear and unambiguous as possible, despite the other party not willing to address the facts or be honest with them.

The readers can judge easily.
