These four banks are represented by the vertical lines in the UOB logo, with the horizontal line representing UOB which
took over these smaller banks over a period of time.

I still remember Industrial and Commercial Bank. Among the earliest besides Lee Wah and Chung Khiaw to be absorbed by UOB.
