A 2-Man Platoon

Which holiday camp in the world gives u a high chance of death, permanent injury or disability, long term health risks, not to mention injuries etc.? I have known personally at least 2 individuals who have died, several that were paralysed, and many injuries (including myself), as well as long term ill effects like hearing loss (2 friends in arty had this) etc. Sounds to me like u never did NS before. EIther that, or u are one big asshole.

A true story, ma friend was downgraded two years ago for a knee cap problem; and since then, no more NS for him. He got this injury from his NS (so-called reservist) duty.

We were walking and talking in a mall when we met a platoon mate of his. He related the situation during the last NS duty. Out of one platoon, only two men were left as "combat fit". Half of it including my friend was downgraded because of knee injuries (no good for running, jumping, carrying heavy stuff, climbing staircase, etc). That means they are considered 'almost useless'. But, I, Conqueror is TOTALLY different because I CAN do half squat with almost 300lb of weight. 'Bo bian' I'm forced to challenge a young Canadian guy that was found in a website for bodybuilding.

The rest ... excuse grass lah and dono-what-other-problems ; and perhaps some 'gheng' their way out too. Just imagine, a young officer with only two men in his 'platoon'. How are they going to survive in a conflict in a jungle ?

Some people from Armour Units told me of dead 'tankees' when light tanks overturned during exercises. One of them I know of, lost a leg during his NSF days. The sad truth is ... Is this a worthy sacrifice ?
