Another mouthpiece reports Ruler Loong's exhortation to local merchants. Ruler Loong wants them to rely less on connections and relationships. Ruler Loong says

'Beyond a certain point as companies grow and expand, the family structure (except for the Imperial Family) no longer works,' he said, adding that businesses should adopt a more professional structure (yeah, father and wife both rule sovereign funds) and recruit more global talent for key positions (remember what happened to ang moh Temasick boss, fired for dissent against his wife's cronies)."

Ruler Loong should put himself up as an example. It was dynastic succession that made him the present Paramount Ruler of Peasantpore. His own mama, Gecko Kwa exploited her status to make sucker millions from investments and lucrative state business e.g. HDB conveyance contracts. In addition, the inept Kwas rode on their proximity to the Imperial Clan to grab various cushy posts, earning undeserved stipends despite their incompetence. Ruler Loong's father and wife both run GIC and Temasick like feudal lords. As a result of crony politics, nobody said anything when cronies proposed silly investments in UBS and Citicorp.

To further pervert the political realm, Ruler Loong supported his common-law kin, Phony Tan, praising the later as a good obedient rubber stamp president. Therefore Phony Tan is another example of a greedy baboon using relationships and connections to win the procedural presidential elections. Phony Tan ought to be another example of nepotism.

Therefore Ruler Loong has no sense of shame when he sprout garbage to the merchants to drop cronyism.

If what the title suggest is true, then should a son depend on the connection that he was someone's son to automatically assumed the post of being the ruler?:D

What you must understand is that whatever that comes out from the King's mouth is meant for the peasants to hear and heed, not for him and his cronies. They are above us. This is Lee's country. Don't like it, fark off. They can always replace you with a pinoy, a Chinese or an ah neh.

You have the facts wrong!
this lky's son you referring to is not the ruler, his father is; lky's son is only the inheritor thus he is pm[ProxyMinister].

I'm a neoliberal. I couldn't care less if the Lees own Singapore as a commercial entity. Just don't call it a country. It's the hypocrisy and cheating that I can't stand. Even the rich in Sinkieland have to tread carefully. Thanks to the ignorant hoi polloi, the 60% sheep who gave Kuan Yew the mandate to indulge his megalomania. What's money if you do not have political power? :(

The 60% need not 'return' the regime to power, it is a procedural elections where the regime always find itself in power. This is the main reason why Baba Emperor preferred the Westminister system as it is easier to subvert the former into an Imperial system.

Woe woe woe, Peasantpore is nothing but a rogue chinkish port city, infested with indolent peasants and greedy rulers.....

Biggest Goon ?

In Sg's context, BG = Boy General.

Cheers!

I thought it means the 'Biggest Girly'. Why ? Every time when he walks he sway his hips like sissy. I'm gonna throw up !

Re: Biggest Goon ?

Ruler Loong's rapid promotions will make Patton and Zhulov to puke with envy. Both blokes planned bloodthirsty battles to win their spurs but Ruler Loong merely ok the foreign consultant's advice for the helicopter rescue of stupid peasants trapped in cheap cable car.....only possible with dynastic politics.
