HDB have no power to investigate the source of noise?
My block has been affected by what seems to sounds like a wooden door closing noise. The noise doesn't sound like it's from 1 floor above. It sounded almost like it's from the wall or floor from about a few units away, but not airbourne. Sometimes you can feel the vibration from the floor. Pom pom pom pom..... We can hear the bounce of a heavy material, likely wooden door. From loud to soft with some vibration. The momentum is like wind blowing onto some object and it hits the door frame or something, and the volume and the bounce instances seem consistent.
My neighbours heard it too. Last time it was fixed at certain timings but tonight this lasted for hours till 12am+. I've asked HDB to investigate but they will only 'advise' them if they know the unit. Can't they at least send some letters to my nearby units or talk to random units to ask?
It's quite an old flat, but my previous unit was old too and it wasn't like this.
