JUST IN: An SAF Operationally-Ready National Serviceman, Lance Corporal (LCP) (NS) Chew Koh Leong, 32, suffered a heart attack during his Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) training in Maju Camp on Feb 21. He is now in intensive care at Nat'l Uni Hospital and specialists are investigating the cause, he has had no prior history of heart disease.

Is SAF going to pay his medical bills? How much compensation will he be getting?

This fucked IPPT/RT/IPT is the worst insult a Singapore man can take. We are already 2/2.5 years slower than girls and now we have to fight with all these foreign thrash. This IPPT is a yearly reminder to us men that we are slaves in our own country.

apparently, saf haven't learnt from previous cases of their super fit regulars who suffered from heart attack!

Those chee-bye foreign trash will sneer with one less competition in the job market.

Singaporean are born to suffer all the way till we die.

Brother, Maju Camp is the most relaxed place to do RT. I know because I am signed on RT :o

Once in a while you will still find some young, reckless and never-say-die PTIs, who believe that pushing you to the limit is good for you.

But nobody knows where your limit is, except you.

going to gedong on tue.. hope nothing bad happens to all the bros going back

Don't forget the silly mobilization exercises, to test our 'operational readiness'.

Yeah right, as if I will show up in a real war and be the elites' conscript meatshield. ;)

I heard there are no more PTIs, or the PTIs are only involved in administration tasks.

The RT training has been outsourced to Cisco.

I hate those mobilization exercise with a passion. When there is war, my CO had better be good else me and my troops will have their guns on him instead of the invaders. I value competence.

Condolences. FT should pay his family back for dying for them.

For every NS man that died, more blood will be on Phony Tan's son's hands.

Its really a fuckin waste of time attending all these stupid RTs..

Lets face the fact.. We can never ever win a war even if all our soldiers are fit like the US Marines..

Joke: The camp's name is Maju and yet soldiers don't move forward there.
