Labour chief Lim Swee Say clarifies CPF comments

Thanks for the compliment. I am proud to be associated with someone who has a 1st Class Hons degree and a Masters from Stanford.

Comprable with a canine with fleas.......1st class honours...so what!?

First class honors means he's very intelligent.

That is very subjective.......I have mates, who have qualifications this "tooth pick" thief, is pale by comparison...double degrees in engineering, PHD's , Master degree & there was one, who was a colombo plan scholar...

Does it mean that I am lesser intelligent than them or this 1st class honours clown?? subjective!...

Based upon the quality of your inputs in this forum, I would have to say yes, it does mean that you are less intelligent.

Your singing may be better though.

You are right, therefore, we should allow to draw our cpf money in 3 stages (1) at age of 55 in 1/3. (2) at age 65 another 1/3. (3) at 75 the whole lot.

For such an analogy, at the age of 55 and above some still can "stand" while mostly others may not.

For those who still can "stand on ceremony" by that age, their "skerm Bank" is almost dried up.
Instead of letting you unload at "one lump pool of skerm", you can only unload "drop by drop".

AT 55 YEARS OF AGE, I worked 30 plus years for my "egg nest"...I want to enjoy that money, even I am thrifty!!...There must be no restrictions like it was before...at 55, I get all all. Choices can be given, that I can either, park the money there till I am 65, withdraw the rest, in stages after that... I sign for that choice....I can not complain. Other than that, at 55...I want my money it is my money, not yOUR MONEY!!

As long as there are people like yourself who stamp their feet and throw a tantrum when they aren't given what they want, the government certainly isn't going to relent on this issue.

Start behaving like an adult and papa Lee might warm to the idea that you can be trusted to look after your own finances after all.

ha ha ha "papa Lee"....that I trust, but his offspring & his gang , NO!...but it was "papa Lee" who initiated the holding back of our retirement money...don't think, I trust him too... at 55, I want my hard earned, BLOOD SWEAT & TEARS money. whether I can be trusted not to splurge them...it is still my money , not THEIR MONEY...MINE!

Intelligent = work the minimum, rest the maximum, never kena trouble, learnt this during nsf. :p

His clarification proves what an intelligent man he is.

Intelligent indeed :oIo::kma:

From best to better, betterer and betterest.
Now is that a upgrade or downgrade or is it a upturn the downturn

The only area of competence in CPF is his ability to interpret how much he has in the monthly statement - and feeling rich.

When Zorro Lim looks at his bank statement, he feels even richer by many folds.
So, CPF is peanuts compare to what he has in the bank.
