■ Some of the laminates on the platform of the east-west line of the Hung Hom Station showed "honeycomb phenomenon" and exposed steel.
[Sing Tao Daily Report] (Sing Tao Daily reported) Red-and-white station in Shazhong Line found safety quality problems again! The Highways Department revealed in the Legislative Council yesterday that some of the laminates on the platform of the East and West Lines of Hung Hom Station were "honeycomb" and exposed. At the meeting, the government representatives and the MTR explained that some of the "honeycombs" ranged from a few square meters, but did not affect the structural safety. The MTR will submit a repair plan to the government within 14 days. Chen Fan pointed out that it is not ruled out that the inspection of the platform of the Hung Hom Station will be carried out, emphasizing that it is "unsafe and not open to traffic". It is expected that there will be delays in the opening date of the sea section.
The Legislative Council Panel on Transport held a special meeting yesterday to discuss the incident of short-cutting reinforcement at the Hung Hom Station on Shatin. The Acting Director of Highways, Mr Chan Pai-ming, mentioned that some of the platform slabs at the bottom of the platform at the Hung Hom Station on the Shatin Line were spalled and there was a "honeycomb phenomenon". He said that the MTR said at the meeting that the "hive phenomenon" appeared at the bottom of the B, C1 and C2 areas of the section of the Hung Hom Station's east-west platform. The Buildings Department and the Highways Department immediately sent on Wednesday and Thursday. The officers visited the site and wrote to the MTR to ask whether the safety issues were involved and whether the workers could continue construction.
Mr. Zhou Suhong, the general manager of the MTR Engineering Department, explained that the project was run by Leighton and the sub-contractors. The individual scope of the "honeycomb phenomenon" was about several square meters, most of which was not more than one hundred millimeters deep. Individual phenomena are still to be investigated. Yu Dexiang, deputy director of the Buildings Department, said that the problematic sarcophagus has been removed. Some areas have exposed steel bars. It emphasizes that there is no obvious danger to the overall platform and does not affect the structural safety. The MTR has been required to submit repairs to the Government within 14 days. Program.
The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Chen Fan, said yesterday that it would not rule out the inspection of the platform of the Hung Hom Station. "Not only for the sake of seeking knowledge, we hope that if someone falsifies and deceives in the process, we hope that in the process In order to find out, there is a need to have a process to ensure that the investigation is fair and reasonable and not questioned." Chen Fan added that there is no actual plan and it is difficult to verify the situation. It will be openly handled in response to the information obtained from the current investigation. If there is a preliminary conclusion, it will be submitted. The interim report is published.
As for the Shazhong Line, the To Kwa Wan Station has been modified to change the horizontal cross-supported iron of the seven-story horizontal support to six. The MTR's Managing Director, Kim Tae-pei, admitted at the meeting yesterday that the MTR had revised the design to help improve the efficiency of the project. Some of the support was strengthened and the amendment was approved by the Highways Department. Chen Pai Ming pointed out that the estimated settlement caused by the new plan is similar.
The Shazhong Line Dawei Station to Hung Hom Station was originally scheduled to open to traffic next year, and the crossing section will be open to traffic in 2002. After the meeting, Chen Fan said frankly that the Shazhong Line project is facing challenges. As it is not possible to grasp the relevant architectural details, it is expected that there will be delays in the opening date of the crossing section. However, it is emphasized that the current opening time is not the key point. "Unsafe, unopened The moment is to be safe and structured."
