沙中線局部通車燒20億填氹 港鐵：必向禮頓追討

港鐵沙中線於明年初局部通車。
醜聞不絕的港鐵沙田至中環線，於明年初局部通車，而且只開通顯徑、鑽石山、啟德三個站，稱為「屯馬線一期」。而紅磡站加固工程及局部開通涉及20億港元，港鐵要額外撥備。港鐵公司事務總監蘇家碧今早(19日)出席電台節目時表示，20億港元只是暫時由港鐵支付，會嚴肅按合約條款向紅磡站總承建商禮頓追討，強調撥備不會影響票價，因為票價是按可加可減機制調整。
港鐵車務總監劉天成指，屯馬線第一期通車後，新界東及新界北居民前往九龍東或港島東會較受惠，因日後毋須再經東鐵線最繁忙的大圍至九龍塘站路段，可改為在鑽石山站直接前往。
