全國人大會議明日閉幕,大會將會就「港區國安法」的決定草案表決,人大各代表團明天早上會再審議決定草案內容,再作最後定稿。

長和系創辦人李嘉誠應傳媒要求,回應人大就「港區國安法」決定草案表決一事,並以書面回覆。他表示,任何國家對自己的國家安全問題,都有權責, 外界不必過份解讀,通過《港區維護國家安全法》,希望可以紓緩中央對香港的擔憂,發揮長遠穩定發展的正面作用。

李嘉誠又表示,特區政府責無旁貸,要鞏固香港人對「一國兩制」的信心和強化國際社會的信任。

立法會今日(27日)恢復《國歌條例草案》二讀辯論,有網民發起包圍立法會,警方在各區加強巡邏,以防有人作出破壞行為,並在多區拘捕16人,更在部分人身上搜出汽油彈。

警方指,自今日凌晨起,有犯罪分子在本港多區進行違法活動,有暴徒縱火焚燒雜物,向港鐵路軌投擲大型雜物;又有人罔顧道路使用者安全,在馬路上擺放鐵釘刺穿汽車車軚,在紅磡海底隧道出入口刻意慢駛阻塞交通;亦有人以硬物貼在港鐵列車車門上,阻礙開關。

而警方在採取預防性反罪惡巡邏時,更先後發現有人在公眾地方藏有汽油彈及鎚仔等武器。截至早上11時半,警方拘捕至少16人, 年齡介乎14至40歲 ,涉及罪行包括藏有攻擊性武器、藏有工具可作非法用途、危險駕駛等;有3輛汽車被警方拖走。警方積極執法,本港各區公眾秩序得以維持。

早上約10時,警方在銅鑼灣東角道附近巡邏期間,發現一名22歲男子形迹可疑,遂上前截查。警方在該男子背囊中搜出汽油彈、火機及錘仔等武器。男子涉嫌在公眾地方管有攻擊性武器被捕。消息指,被捕男子為香港科技大學四年級學生。

早上6時許,警方在深水埗青山道及九江街交界附近,截查2名分別15歲及18歲少年,在他們身上搜獲多個汽油彈、眼罩及頭盔,涉嫌藏有攻擊性武器被捕。

在差不多時間,兩名分別14及15歲身穿校服的學生在荃灣沙咀道近咸田街一帶徘徊,形迹可疑。警察上前將其截停,在其背囊搜出頭盔及防毒面具等工具,涉嫌藏有工具可作非法用途及遊蕩被捕。

而在凌晨約4時,警方在黃大仙鳳舞街巡邏期間,發現兩名男子形迹可疑,遂上前截查。二人一度嘗試逃走但被警員截停。警員在他們身上搜獲索帶,及在現場檢獲一把刀及一把剪刀。而根據現場觀察所見,該處有作道路工程用途的臨時圍欄被人以索帶綁起。兩名男子涉嫌藏有工具可作非法用途被捕,二人年齡分別為16歲及22歲。

警方警告暴徒,切勿試圖挑戰本港法治,警隊會繼續密切注意各區情況,果斷執法,積極截查所有可疑人及車輛,全力打擊及預防罪案。

【星島日報報道】去年6月9日反修例大遊行中,一名社民連幹事向警方要求開放行車線予遊行人士,與警員交涉期間被指襲警。事隔近一年後,案件今日在東區裁判法院提堂。辯方申請毋須答辯,押後案件至7月14日以待索取文件。被告准以500元擔保外出,其間須居於報稱地址及每週到警署報到一次。

被告謝寄安(24歲,報稱為文員)被控於去年6月9日,在香港軒尼斯道與堅拿首西交界,襲擊正當執行職務的警長34376。
