Hydro mod your watch for super clarity !

Seen some videos previously on this. Interesting mod.

But I wondered about a few things. Oil is probably not a conductor, else the electronics would fry. On quartz watches, when changing batt, will need to go through the process of filling oil and preventing air bubbles all over again. On auto watches, will the rotor rotate properly in oil? Or is this mod only for quartz watches?

So far I only see this done on cheap quartz watches. I guess automatic movement will be expensive to mod.
- The movement will have too much resistance from the oil's viscosity, affecting the accuracy.
- It will also be hard to fill with too many nooks and crannies.
- In addition, friction between gears would produce debris that will eventually flood the entire watch.

What happened to SWATCH?

It was the craze when I was a teenager. I only could afford a SWATCH when I was an adult of 25 years old. Even then it was a birthday gift from my classmates and wasnt flashy.
