BUSAN, South Korea—President Trump said after meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping that the U.S. would cut tariffs on Chinese goods as part of a broader framework to reduce trade tensions.
The president said that the U.S. would immediately lower tariffs on China in exchange for cooperation in cracking down on the export of chemicals used to produce fentanyl.
