“D” Day for Singaporeans – 2016

I belong to the pioneer group of citizens who have voted for and supported the PAP since the early days of 1959. However, I the last few decades I have stopped voting for them as I feel that they have deviated from being caring for the unfortunates in their attempts to gain for themselves by encouraging the influx of the wealthy and so-called talented “foreigners” at the expense of our won citizens.
The current so-called “problems” in transportation, hospitalizations etc are actually cause by them in their failures to anticipate the outcome of their own “policies”. This is clearly shown in their ignorance and arrogance in listening to our very own and truly Singaporeans.
I appeal to all true Singaporeans, opposition political parties and concerned citizens to work TOGETHER towards our very own “D” Day – 2016.

No doubt, there are thousands of sinkies sharing this sentiment to vote out the pappies in GE2016 but in reality, it is an uphill task. The foreigners (new imported shitizens) love pappies and pappies love them. They will vote for pappies and also those local pappies por-lan-pars will do the same. More seats will go to oppo parties but to topple pappies, it is not likely to happen in GE2016 unless Heaven decides to intervene.

If oppo parties get more seats in Parliament, it is the beginning of the end for pappies.

Agrees with your assessment. PAP majority would be drastically reduced in 2016 but won't be enough to topple them. But the negative sentiments and even hatred towards the PAP are indeed gaining momentum and it will not be reversed no matter what the PAP tries to do. The people has seen through all PAP falsehoods. So while not in 2016, it's very likely in 2021. And only with that, will there will be hope for the ordinary Singaporeans.

Yes, reversal is difficult now to regain trust of locals. Sinkies are pissed off... CPF, FTsh, job loss, etc. Even ah peks usually staunch pappies supporters, and youngsters, eligible to vote, are also against pappies now.
