It should also be noted that Mindef has been using Learjets and Beechcraft maintained by ST for their trips and inspections. These had ST markings on the plane. The G550 does not have any markings.

The G550 while not used by the Golden Couple is used for training.

All these business jets of ST which also include this Gulfsteam 550 , 2 Gulfsteam 150s and a few others , are Australian registered as designated by the "VH" prefix in the registration. They have an Australian company of convenience for this purpose. I understand that so many foreign registered aircraft based in Singapore on a permanent basis is not normally allowed. CAAS advised ST to change all their aircraft to Singapore registration but they refused. No prizes on who won this tussle. Foreign aircraft are only allowed to be based in Singapore on renewable 6 month permits at best. They seem to be the exception to have a permanent deal. If they say these are for military use, I dont know of any country which uses foreign registered aircart for military purposes.

They should publicly account for their travels on private jets.

It's fine if it's done publicly. Not fine if they take surreptitious steps to hide the fact.

So much for appearing humble and not driving flashy cars.

Actually they are not Australian registered though VH signifies civil aircraft in Australia. They are locally registered. I have no idea why we are in this confusing situation or is it deliberate on our part.

The fact that this jet does not have ST markings but others in the copany do and the similar registeration to Oz plus owned by an innocuous private company in Singapore suggest that the Golden couple are deliberating hiding this perk from the local masses.

For some reason this jet is often flown to Stansted just outside London is intriguing enough. ST have no idea what is going on.

Though RSAF AED trainees do take off and landing from Seletar to Paya Lebar quite often so the cover is pretty solid.

ST has a wholly owned Singapore subsidiary with a Seletar based address that owns all Mindef commercial jets and this particular Gulfsteam G550.

Ps. @LHY,@ LWL - bet you guys did not know this. Your Mum and Dad would flip on finding this out.

Completely agree.

They are in public service and need to be transparent and fully accountable. And that includes releasing the flight logs to scrutiny by state oversight bodies.

Writing innocent comment and putting photos of owls and trees on FB while concealing the perks of having a Gulfsteam are deceitful in manner and in intention.

They should publicly account for their travels on private jets.

Smiley reminded me of this and here goes.

This jet was acquired by ST in 2012 ostensibly for training purpose. It cost close to USD55M and to hide from the MOF and the cabinet it was secured with a 20 year loan and so in ST books its an annual outlay of $3M.

Aunty and her husband no longer travel by SIA unless it trade delegation or accompanied by other Ministers.

It also used by to visit the Temasek Office in San Francisco opened conveniently in 2016.

Stop your fucking lying and misinformation. Even though I hate the Familee as everyone can see from my past threads and posts, I hate even more defending them because a dumbshit like u cannot get anything right. The history of this G550 is very simple and not full of conspiracy theories that you insinuate.

ST Aerospace identified in 2009-2010, that due to the 2 big casinos and medical tourism, rich individuals will want to fly into singapore on private jets to gamble and seek medical treatment, ST then purchased a charter aircraft business to cater to this identified business market segment. They ordered the G550 new from Gulfstream in 2010, when they bought the company, Pacific Flight Services. They also took over a couple of Learjets and Beechcraft on the inventory of PFS. PFS operates all these aircraft on a charter basis, therefore the G550 is not on the beck and call and solely reserved for Whore Jinx and the Gay one. The G550 is regularly hired by individuals to fly charter to Japan, Russia, europe, US, etc. That is why there are reports of it in Stansted. Stansted is much nearer to London core then Heathrow, with lower landing fees, so its not unusual to see private jets there.

In addition, for some of the smaller airports and resort cities that the various ASEAN summits are held in, a smaller plane is suited to landing on the smaller airports. Not a main line widebody jet liner. In fact, for some of these ASEAN meetings, Gay Loong has flown in on a RSAF Fokker F50. If you don't know it, its a noisy prop plane flying at about half the speed of a G550. In addition to this, the RSAF stated that in 2016, they were looking to replace the F50 which in some cases were over 25 years old. So now, when they need to go somewhere on official business, they charter the G550. Its like giving business to a company you own. If this G550 is solely reserved for their use and no one else's then it would not be right. And in fact, it would have the seal and shield of the PMO on it, because it would be an official state plane. But its not the case.

This company they own, PFS, also runs a multi-engine commercial pilot training school in Australia. My guess is this is the reason that the planes all have an Australian registration. The G550, for example, is VH-PHL. This subsidiary is actually run by Goh Yong Kiat, quite an impressive guy, and not one of those fucking ex SAF genitals parachuted in to fuck things up. Goh is not going to keep his G550 on the ground just to wait for Whore Jinx to call. It only makes money when its in the air.

Unmarked but belongs to ST and Aunty Ho. Gulfstream was told that it was to train our AED Gulfstream Air Force Team but have handled enough dictators and corrupt regimes to know that it was their business jet that was not modified for for AED training.

Bullshit. It belongs to an ST subsidiary call Pacific Flight Services, that is why its in plain livery, not unmarked. Gulfstream was never told that it was to train any air force team. In fact, PFS is a legit private jet charter business and ordering such a plane from Gulfstream is very normal. This G550 is booked quite often by rich individuals flying all over the world. The only connection that PFS has with the RSAF is that it has a contract for its 2 Learjets to be target towing aircraft for RSAF live fire practice.

They need to be sneaky about this whole affair. Lack of perk like having private jet one of the justification they decided to give themselves a hefty ministerial pay hike.

you know it's fake news when tpx claims it is used to fly the ho to temasick office in sf. sfo lah. who would want to land right in the office? :p even if it's sfo, this aircraft is great for regional trips but not for trans-pacific. at least check range before posting crap and where in the pacific it can land to refuel. sin to honolulu: 6749 nmi. max range of g550: 6750 nmi. which pilot would dare to fly from sin to honolulu for refuel with an allowance of 1 nautical mile to spare? i'm glad someone like papsmear caught this bullshitter out before more readers fall for his nonsense.

None of the planes are registered in Australia.

Before your post I already stated that it belongs to a local wholly owned subsidiary of ST. None of these planes are based out of Singapore for training.

Singapore Technologies brief is not to look after rich people visiting casinos. If you believe this you believe anything. Next you will tell us that ST has boats that they hire to rich casinos clients to go fishing and visiting southern islands.

May you also heard that ST has bought hotels to complete the vertical for looking after rich clients. It does make sense if ST is indeed looking after rich casino clients. You make it sound that these rich people have no other way to get hold of private charter planes and depend on our Government to provide such a service. Maybe the 2 casinos really have no idea how to look after their rich clients

Why so gullible and swallow the whole BS about rich clients.
