They usually have a minimum amount you must maintain. Otherwise they will charge you a fee.
Same, same with any of the banks in Spore:( However at least with Citibank there's some standard not like DBS. DBS must be the laughing stock among the banking community: discarding of safety boxes, failing ATM network, poorly handles skimming cases, .....

The reason i wanna close the DBS account is because of their lousy customer service and they way DBS provide the service.
They sent me a new debit card which i didn't ask for it. I have changed the card not too long ago, i think is less than a year. The same manner that i was issue a new card out of nowhere.
they told me that it is the added security feature so they want to change all cards.
My debit card it tie to paypal and google wallet and if i change my card again , i need to re-key in all my account informations of these online accounts.
i was not happy and i call to ask,
The pinoy helps me to cancel my current card and keep the old card.
Then she said," if there is any security breach in your old card, we are not responsible."
Then i told her i will cancel all my DBS accounts in a few months time. Good Bye.
What that, i decided to cancel all my DBS accounts.
What the fuck is that?? DBS screwed up the security and the inconvenience has to come to me, if i do not do what they "order", they will fuck care if i screwed up.
What kind of service is that???
If they are taught by DBS to provide service like that, why they hell will i need to have an account with them.
Who the hell do they think they are????

I doubt so, there is usually a letter to you, if they want to remove the boxes, maybe you missed that. In the event that you or representative did not turn up, the box is removed or open in the presence of two bank officers, who will view the contents, list it, type it out & signed & the contents will be sealed again in whatever containers with a seal, that is wax.
You sure, they just take it out without informing you & well might that be, Hong Kong?
ya lor. duno but recently was thinking to apply for safe deposit box with dbs or posb. still confused. Can anybody suggest me?
