Dear Readers,

I would like to feedback on the Subject which I visited on 28 Dec 10 with friends.

I noticed the cafe hires overwhelmingly, foreigners who are largely unaware of proper hygiene practices of S’pore. I also wonder if they are legitimately hired as they commented that it is so easy to “get anything done in S’pore, just not get apprehended in the process.” (They thought I didn’t understand their lingo).

On another point, they (staff and customers alike), seemed to be anti-semitic as they were passing sarcastic comments about my Jewish friend who was with me at the time and were also largely hostile to his presence. (Again they did not know that I understood their language). I was shocked to encounter this in our shores as I always thought racism is almost non-existent here. This brings to my memory, a case of assault against a Jew at the National Library a few months back and the culprit hanged around arab st. quite frequently which is fast becoming a hotbed of negative influence from the arab middle-easterners who ’settle’ there.

My concern is, if such behaviour is left unchecked, could lead to dire consequences. I hope the authorities could look into this and correct aptitudes.

I have both Lebanese and Jewish friends. There is not much to tell which is which to be honest unless you have been with them for a very long time. They are very alike in many ways and many Lebanese are actually Christians although most are Muslims, and they live peacefully with each other. I am not so much into their politics but I understand their problems started when the Palestinians were driven out from their land by the Jews. The Lebanese were more or less drawn into the war against Israel. Most of them are peaceful but I guess as the majority are Muslims, there is a mistaken perception that Muslims should support other Muslims, even if they are from different sects.

I have some jewish friends. They are really like muslims with respect to food and tradition. They are typical overachievers (lawyers/doctors/bankers) who keep a close network among themselves. It's as if they are preparing for another Holocaust.

The problem with the jews is that they don't integrate well with the countries they live in. Just look at the jews living in the US, many still consider Israel their homeland. They export their problems, dragging others into their feud with the Arabs.

Is it any wonder that they are dislike in many countries.

Never trust a Jew. You can only hello-hello with them. They don't see the need to integrate with the local populace. Neither can the local populace go near them.
