Actually quite true, no?

"After I passed out from OCS I didn't exercise anymore.
Exercise was merely a means to an end. I had to pass IPPT and SOC in order to graduate. And I had to be physically fit to chong sua, do topo, bash through the jungle, do fire-and-movement, survive ATEC, survive Brunei, survive ROC, etc.
So after I earned my commission, there wasn't a need to exercise anymore. I already got what I wanted. Those 10 and a half months of PT torture was enough to last a lifetime.
As per Leo Tolstoy's epic War and Peace, I went through the war so now I want to nua and just enjoy the peace. Especially since I already ORD.
I have already proven myself by earning my commission and enduring those 10 and a half months of PT torture. I don't see why I should exercise and inflict self torture on myself. I don't have anything to prove to anyone nor is there a need."

People tend to stop doing anything that is seen as a chore or duty, something that is tolerated, not enjoyed.

No wonder I see lots of fatty Sinkies in Singagore
Sinkies favourite pastime is eating eating and eating

Damn even shopping centres all over the country have numerous food outlets of so many kinds that never existed before There are less shops selling merchandise than shops selling food

You fatty Sinkies have starred weighing so much the island will not be able to carry the weight any further

lol

I know one morbidly obese officer who passed out of OCS in the early 80s. He now looks something like this:

This guy obviously isn't someone athletically inclined. I exercise almost daily and enjoy my cycling. Used to do a lot of 10km running and going for competitions.

What is there to show and externally validated? Exercise is about you and for yourself only.

At least he is not like this idiotic moron who still want to be addressed as "Sir" after ORD.
