I still cannot forgive how the authorities have butchered the old charm of Chinatown.

The Food Street of today is nothing more that a plastic, touristy joint.

In my opinion, it was a decision that's worse than what they did to Haw Par Villa (Big dragon and entry fee) and Sentosa (Fantasy Island, Volcanoland era).

Fuck those scholars and bureaucrats! :oIo:

not 100% sure bro laksa. Been quite some time since i ate there. Normally when i go chinatown area these days i go eat the pork ribs at Toh Kee.

Dont have to wait so long for the food.

The one along Pagoda Street or was it Temple Street? next to the fish head noodle soup right?. I remember the sar po fan tasted damn good, never mind, how black the Sar Po looked like.

temple street it was i think. The stall was operated by an old lady with a helper. There was some kind of makeshift canvas shelter in case it rained...and she used to have a few pots over charcoal fires. Quite popular.
