CST contested in Cairnhill but finally won in Potong Pasir. LTK contested in Tiong Bahru but finally won in Hougang. Weren't those remarkable improvements and achievements?

Those were remarkable achievements. However for it to be called an improvement you must contest in the same area twice (modulo boundary redrawing).

Goh Chok Tong is missing from the list. He fumbled quite a great deal during the last GE's hustlings, particularly when defending TPL, but I can't think of an appropriate sounding award for him.
