In a way you are right..but the pap had 82 seats in the previous Parliament and now holds 81 seats..so nett loss of one seat is also correct

2001: Aljunied GRC, disqualified due to technicality.

2006: AMK GRC, 34%, despite contesting PM who belittled him that it'd cost him the deposit.

2011: Hougang SMC, 65%, higher than even previous WP incumbent LTK.

Disagree. TT is the "most manipulated" win award. Without spoilers TJS and TKL messing up the show, TCB would have gotten 65% and the PAP would have been given such a big black eye that I think they would be half blind for the next 5 years.

Yes, could be Pritam. But eloquence is not just in the English Language. Taking all into consideration and having heard CSM is his Parliamentary debut, he is ahead by a whisker. But that award winner can be changed if more forumners think Pritam is better than CSM. let's see

That one takes the cake. NTS followed JBJ for two decades. Helped out in elections, took part in elections himself. Last minute, he had to make a change and did not even know form had to be countersigned. WTF. Even a bloody bank cheque has to be countersigned, much less an electoral nomination form. Nominees and candidates were both busy talking to press up till 11.59am, Ken Sun had to step into the fray and tell the whole gang their time was drawing to a close.

By the way what do you mean arrival at nomination centre an hour late? You can only submit the form at 11am. Arrive one hour late means you submitted on the dot at 12pm.
