Great scott Batman! I understand where you are coming from. But this is the reason why sinkees dont excel in what they do. Get an engineering degree in order to get a job. But in the end, are they passionate about it? Look at all the useless scholars in the civil service. All paper but not much brains.

In theory,when u study for an engineering degree,when u graduate u should work as an engineer.
In practice,when u graduate at a time of economic downturn,manufacturing companies closed down or relocated overseas,so u may apply for the job of an insurance agent or sales representative for sake of survival.Job availability depends on the market.

That's why many people actually throw away those useless papers and go into strange industries which do not require them. It's sad but true. No one can tell what may come tomorrow.

Even then, some actually dump it and pursue their own interest like comic drawing, cup cake making or dancing.
