Background- mid 30s, married with no kids, moved into BTO in 2025, working full time since 2015, only got 1 month break back in 2017. No debts cos I paid my share of reno cost using cash savings. Private degree holder.

In my current company for over 5 years, pay is decent but position wise is getting stagnant and I’m sick of dealing with the people and job scope. I don’t see myself doing this forever. For context I’m doing sales in corporate finance. Lately feeling more depressed and anxious with Monday blues. I’m just job hugging at the moment due to the economy.

I feel like quitting to take a career break and just funemployment. Thinking to do TikTok live streaming or just find a lazy girl admin job - don’t mind taking a pay cut even 2-3k is fine. Problem is I see so many jobless people in reddit complaining that it’s so hard to find even a part time job? I have savings but ideally I would need to have a part time income still.

Saw TikTok aggressively push their live streaming academy, I actually already doing the affiliate product content creation so thinking to try doing the live streaming. If worst case cannot make it I will have to look for a admin job to tide over.
