His friends decided to SMS each other about killing the Prime Minister.(On purpose, To prove Conspiracy theory). Next day there was a van trialling him and his friend for up to a week before it disappeared for good
From what i gathered.. There are certain key words that has been put into the Telco system, And when this words come up..It will be pull out and looked at..
Most likely Sg does this as well, One way to gather intelligence.

They target individual numbers and certain channel used by certain parties and not the whole spectrum. The forerunner was commonly known as Echelon as with listening stations all around the world put together by the Allies. The focus is actually cryptography. Subversives and professional intelligence operatives use code or encrypt. Even organised criminals groups like traffickers use code. That leaves out amateurs. The payback is not worth it for open spectrum.

Mr Lim joined the Singapore Police Force in 1975, rose through the ranks and held various appointments including as Director (Internal Security Department).
Fifty-two-year-old Tan Tee How, who is currently Permanent Secretary (National Development), will be appointed as Permanent Secretary (Home Affairs).
Mr Tan, a former Administrative Service officer and a Local Merit Scholar, has held various posts including CEO of National Healthcare Group.
He was Principal Private Secretary to the prime minister in 1997.
Meanwhile, Mr Peter Ong will relinquish his appointment as Permanent Secretary (National Security and Intelligence Coordination).

BL is older than PO, that I am 100% certain. BL should be 55 yrs of age. PO likely 49-50yrs old. PO was never Dir ISD. BL was. Both were Dy Dirs under Chiang Chie Foo. BL would have moved up very much faster if he was OMS. If I recall rightly, ex-CP was Supt and BL was ASP. BL became PS while ex-CP was made Dy Sec after his retirement. For that, and for once, WKS made the right decision.
MND has to be important. MBT screwed up there. BL's move cannot be insignificant. Mind you, he remains PS PMO, a high profile posting.

Yes, you can literally see this guy think. The impression was that he could run ISD but he was not interested. Always getting the plump stuff.
