To all Sg fugitives in Thailand : Is Ramkamhaeng a nice place to live ?

Never been to Ramkhamhaeng before. Only Sukhumvit and Patpong. You all talk sounds so good I also want to go. How far is it from Patpong? Maybe next trip I plan Ramkhamhaeng recce recce hehehe...

If your are tourist on short visit then no need go....lots of other happening places if you want to party....

I didn't say I moved to Ramkh. I said I just came back from The Mall, Bangkapi. I travelled there via Klong Saen Sap.

Recce recce mah. Planning good place for retirement runroad. So far my favourite is Hatyai. Suka suka go Chanivet suka suka go Sekimyong girls OK and cheap to grab back for overnight sex. But Hatyai much smaller than Bangkok and not surrounded by nearby good places for other entertainment. Food is good though, Thai, Chinese, Muslim whatever all cheap and good.

Carabao rocks! They travel all over Thailand giving concerts in various places, sometimes in small pubs without advance notice.
Last year they went to their tawangdaeng restaurant in Dempsey and gave an impromptu performance there.

Ok ok ok. Anyway I want to tell you that I like the supermarket of The Mall Bangkapi. Found many variety of fishes and seafood there. You really must try the market outside the Mall in the open carpark. Very interesting.

I have never use the water transport in the Klongs before but driving pass some I could smell it especially those next to the slums. Does it smell in the boat at some places?

I've been to Ramkhamhaeng once. Donkey years ago, brought there by my then girlfriend to meet her family. Nice first impression of the town. I'd think Ramkhamhaeng to Bangkok is something like what PJ is to KL. Those donkey years ago was a time when even the first MRT pillar wasn't up yet.

The name Ramkhamhaeng was hammered into me when I first learned my Ko Kai Kho Khai there and was told that the place was named after the king who invented it. My first teacher was her little bro, 7 or 8 years old.

Of course it smells. And sometimes the water splashes over and into the cabin when another boat cruises by in opposite direction. But the most irritating part is the noise emanating from the engine which is located right in the middle of the boat. The trick of course is to sit at the front section, and with the noise behind you it's not so bad. This is why all the front seats will be taken up first.

The long boat is very convenient because it beats all traffic jams in Bangkok. There is another reason why I like to travel by boat. If you're lucky like I was today, you would encounter one particular lady who worked on board one of those boats who look like Maggie Q.

I've tried river taxi once long ago and that's it. Stay on land. You can cross the rivers with the bridges. My dislike is the stink and the splashing, and the sight of kids at the banks peeing and pooing.

Thanks buddy, think I still stick with the car. But one day sure must go boating la because I heard Bangkok is sinking.

I am not surprise with a Meggie Q face working here butt off in a boat. Once in Manila's Ariatico Street it was at night and dark I saw a young druggy stoned and begging at a dark corner when I looked closely I thought I saw the most beautiful face on earth I cannot forget the face till today. Obviously she's a mix not pure Filipina but I thought her face is like an angel. Cannot resist so I sat down on the floor with her for a dope and talked. Damn pitiful man.

Coming back to Thailand, I think here have many beautiful women here and as I love dark tan skin women over fair, yes I think this is perfect land for me.

These are at least the 'natural' type of pollutants.......there are those industrial type of waste being dump into the river as well....it amazes me the river is still able to substain life.
