1c increment for introductory distant-based travel is small beer. But in future, when the increment goes up to 2c, 5c or even higher, you will be paying through your noses.
Just to refresh your memory in case you have forgotten the pain. 3% introductory GST is small beer. But 5%, 6%, 7% are not. 9% and higher in the future will kill you.
