Total waste of time to do such Mac. They should have a card for each person who frequent.
If they really want to be pro business, they should actually try to get people to easy access in Malaysia via Johor. Then they can think of developing Malaysia and Johor.

i think this PH government also not very business suavy.

Hi All,

Can i have some sound advice please. Ever Since they close off the MAC Access for regular Singaporeans, Staying in Johor for long term has been a pain and a source of frustration and Stress. I usually stay in Johor each time for 3 weeks before exiting to Singapore and to return back to Johor again 2 days later. Each time i enter back to Johor, the Immigration Officer ask me a hosts of difficult questions, albeit like really trying to make things very difficult for Singaporeans. there was even one officer who told me straight in the face that i am not supposed to stay in Johor for more than 2 weeks (yeah then why 30 days Visa).

it's very stressful having to face the officer each time and being interrogated like a criminal. I have a house in Johor, and that's the reason why stay in Johor for long periods at a time. Is anybody facing the same situation? Is there anyway to avoid such a situation? Can a Singaporean apply for any form of Long Term Social Visit Pass? Thanks a lot for any practical safe advice.

Precisely. Unlike sinkieland open her leg wide wide!
And yet we allowed so many Malaysians to come and work in Singapore, to earn our high currency, and for them to enjoy Retirement back to Malaysia in 5-8years? While we Singaporeans suffer like hell in our Own Country for 40 years? While we allow them to come in to work, they should also allow us to go in. It should be mutual beneficial and not one Way! The current dwindling economy state of Johor is dependent so much on Singaporean Spending, Live and let live.

Singkie garment pro foreigners especially towards jiuhukia. Very sympathetic towards latter. But jiuhu garment not pro singkies. I already told my frds/relatives not to purchase any msian properties for retirement purpose. Unless they willing to apply for MM2H.

basically you already had it quite ok compared with those travelling in and out daily. not much leeway you can get now as whatever policies they will come up will not be for our convenience first. it must be what they can derive from implementing something. guess we hv to make do with whatever is available.

Sigh...i guess all Singaporean who are travelling in/our of Johor now, and those who have properties in Johor will have it bad. Last time have MAC still not so bad. Now it's so stressful going out and coming into Johor, having to face those officers attitude. Who will pay all the oversupply Properties in Johor now? Anyway guys is there a Site/ Forum / Place / Website where i can complain and raise issues about the horrible state of new Properties in Johor? My relative recently just gotten her keys for a newly TOP property in Johor, and it was horrible. There were Water leaking and flooding through all the Windows during rain, The Window Frames were Cracked, there were more than 20 Cracked tiles in the living room and bedrooms, and a lot of the Window Glass Panes were heavily scratched. For a Property more than 600k, it was atrocious. It's ridiculous how shady and undercutting the workmanship is. She really feels extremely cheated.

firstly, just like spore pty or anywhere even australia, i had bad experience with not a rm600k but aud1.2mil. go think. the roof and gardens were totally damaged by one rainy day! but you just hv to take the developer to task. they will hv to make good given time however. so you can help her with that by not needlessly making reports but go to meet developer instead. at least things will move because most developers build good buildings as well as flawed ones like my previous serangoon rd condo. it was another horrid quality by a well known builder. btw most owners will try not to make their condo look bad by publicly complaining. thats the delimma!

Hi first time posting here. For context I moved to johore in 2015 and have been living here without any problems. I am here on a social visit pass. I work from home in johore and cross the border into Singapore once a week and return the same day. During my last two crossings into johore I was questioned by immigration officers at the counter and told in no uncertain terms that I am not allowed to live here without a long term visa and was told to apply for Malaysia my second home. I intend to apply but have two questions which I hope those in the know can share. Firstly I'm really worried about being detained and not allowed to enter johore again. Secondly I am definitely applying for mm2h but I do not satisfy the monthly income of 10k criteria though I am able to provide the lump sum fixed deposit. Can some kind souls provide any useful information about how to tackle this sticky situation?

Thank you so much. The information is really useful. Looks like the only major hiccup to my application for MM2H@Sarawak is the lack of a Sarawakian sponsor as Sarawak immigration does not allow the use of agents.
