SIA Airbus A380 Develops Engine Problem Again

A Singapore Airlines Airbus A380-800, registration 9V-SKA performing flight SQ-318 from Singapore (Singapore) to London Heathrow,EN (UK), arrived at London's Heathrow Airport on just three engines with the fourth (Trent 970) shut down and with a delay of about one hour. The airplane landed safely.

The return flight SQ-321 had to be postponed to the next day and was performed by the incident airplane with a delay of 18 hours.

SIA has obviously tried to skimp on maintenance. :rolleyes:
 
Also they are using used cooking oil as fuel instead of aviation fuel. :D
 
They like 2 cut cost by using recon spark plug... of course cnot start lah... chey...:D:D
 
No lah, they are building up a reserve for a rainy day. So only use 1 engine the other 3 engine T loan to United Airlines to generate more returns for rainy day fund.

Unfortunately United declared bankrupt.

Fellow cohorts, don't comprain, just tighten belts and make do with world class A380 - looks beautiful but only 1 engine.
 
i never flew on A380, any good. my fav still 747.
dun really think 777 is better than the old classic.
