Doesn't matter. The gods are great and will forgive sinners. They don't hold grudge. However, their representatives on Earth are very ambitious and will take it personally, sometimes getting mobs to physcally punish the offender/s. So to answer your question, don't worry about offending the gods, but look out for their mortal servants here on earth.
